We’ll Do Whatever It Takes to Ensure Nigeria Qualifies for the World Cup – Pinnick

Pinnick

Former President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and current Deputy Chairperson of the FIFA Men’s National Teams Competition Committee, Amaju Pinnick, has expressed strong determination to see Nigeria qualify for the next FIFA World Cup.

Speaking on Thursday, Pinnick said that while the National Sports Commission (NSC) cannot perform miracles, every effort is being made to guarantee the Super Eagles’ qualification.

“While the National Sports Commission cannot perform magic, we are giving it our all. Whatever it takes to ensure our qualification, we will gladly do,” Pinnick stated.

Reflecting on past disappointments, the football administrator described Nigeria’s previous failure to qualify for the World Cup as one of the lowest moments of his life.

“One of the lowest points in my life was when Nigeria failed to qualify for the World Cup despite our preparations at that time,” he said.

Pinnick added that he remains in close communication with the players and key officials of the NFF, all of whom are united in their determination to secure a World Cup ticket.

“I am in touch with the players, and all of them, along with the NFF, want to be at the World Cup,” he affirmed.
