What Goodluck Jonathan Said 11 Years Ago Before The 2011 Presidential Election

Reno Omokri, a former spokes man to former president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has dug out a picture of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan where he made a statement about the 2011 presidential election that is happening almost how he stated it.

Goodluck Ebele Jonathan had in the 20 10 convention of the People’s Democratic Party warned Nigerians about voting for people who are hungry for power, having no concrete plans for the country and the people but making false promises during their campaigns.

He also mentioned that Nigerians have choices in the elections of choosing who would lead them in the next four years, and the choices are only two, they can choose between a leader who is only hungry for power and position or a leader who truly has the well-being of the people at heart.

The main capture in the statement from eleven years ago is that which he said that Nigerians have a chose between going forward and going backwards. These to Goodluck Ebele Jonathan were the two choices Nigerians had during the general elections in 2011.

Nigerians are been reminded of this same statement, especially now that they have been many posters of politician who want to contest for the position of the presidency come 2023. It is in the hands of Nigerians to choose for themselves and choose wisely.

These were the words of former president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in December 10, 2010 during the PDP convention, he said (As shared by Reno Omokri);

“The choice before Nigerians in the election is simple: A choice between going forward or going backwards, between freedom and repression, between a record of achievements and reforms, and desperate power-seekers with EMPTY PROMISES – Goodluck Ebele Jonathan December 10, 2010.”
