As the 2023 Presidential Polls is approaching, there are so many Politicians who have been aspiring for the Post of President in 2023 Presidential Polls. Though not three of them are from the same Political Parties but each and every one of them have held one or two Positions in their various states and in Nigeria at large.
They have contributed immensely to the development of this country in their various states. The Three Presidential candidates are Alhaji Atiku Abubakr, Bukola Saraki and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. This Atiku shall reveal their contribution to development of the nation.
1. Alhaji Atiku Abubakr.
Atiku Abubakr was the vice President to the former President Olusegun Obasanjo. Atiku Abubakr contested for the Governorship Polls in 1999 Governorship Polls before he picked as running mate to President Olusegun Obasanjo in 1999. Atiku Abubakr is an active member of the Peoples Democratic party PDP in the last Presidential election.
Atiku Abubakr contested against President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019 Presidential Polls but Buhari was declared the winner of the election. Though Atiku has declared openly that he will contest the 2023 Presidential Polls. Though Atiku has not declare the under which Party, he will contest but he will definitely contest the 2023 Polls.
2. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The second Person is the former Lagos State Governor and the national leader of the Party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is also contesting the Presidential Polls under the Platform of All Progressives Congress APC.
It should be recalled that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has played a pivotal roles in both the 2015 and 2019 Presidential Polls that brought in President Muhammadu Buhari as the President of the country. Tinubu was the first person that embraced President Muhammadu Buhari’s Ambition in the Southwest.
3. Bukola Saraki.
The Third Person is the former Governor of Kwara State and the former Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki. Bukola Saraki was the Governor for eight years in Kwara State. He was the Governor between 2003 and 2007. He became Senator in 2007 until 2011 and he was reelected in 2015 and he became the Senate President.
Saraki contested the Presidential Primary election under the Platform of the Peoples Democratic party PDP but Alhaji Atiku Abubakr won the Primary Election. Saraki happened to be the architect of Kwara State Politics. He is a notable Leader in Kwara State
Among all the three Political Gladiators, who is best fit as the President among them all.
