A Nigerian man has openly criticized social media activist, VeryDarkMan, over his recent action of blocking trucks belonging to Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, questioning the authority he has to take such measures.
In a viral post on Tuesday, the man described VeryDarkMan’s actions as “foolish and reckless,” stressing that no private individual has the legal mandate to obstruct trucks or business operations under the guise of activism.
“In what capacity is VeryDarkMan acting? What authority does he have to block Dangote’s trucks? If everyone begins to take the law into their own hands like this, the country will descend into chaos,” he fumed.
He further warned that if the government fails to urgently call the controversial activist to order, his actions may one day spark a crisis too difficult for the authorities to control.
