A fiery moment unfolded during a recent church service in Bayelsa State when a prominent clergyman used the pulpit to directly criticize the political elite for the deepening suffering of ordinary Nigerians, despite the nation’s wealth from oil.
Addressing a congregation that included Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri, Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and other top government officials, the man of God declared.
“A day will come when these politicians won’t even know which clothes to pick before they start running. The suffering I’m facing in this oil-producing country is caused by them.”
