Chuks Nwoko, brother of Senator Ned Nwoko, has publicly criticised the lawmaker, accusing him of bringing shame to their family and “reaping what he sowed.” In a video message, Chuks said repeated attempts to reach his brother had failed, adding that he felt obligated to speak out as a concerned sibling.
“You are bringing so much disrepute to the name Nwoko. You are not ashamed, but we, your siblings, are ashamed for you,” he said.
Chuks urged Senator Nwoko to reflect on his actions, invoking a Bible verse to stress the need for repentance and a change of heart. He accused the senator of promoting values that contradict their upbringing and criticised his public image on social media, alleging that Ned wrongly portrays himself as entirely self-made despite benefiting from support in his early years, including assistance from Omoye.
He further accused the senator of having “betrayed and done harm to everyone who helped him in life,” beginning with his immediate elder brother. Chuks called on Ned to embrace humility, take responsibility, and stop bringing disrepute to the Nwoko family.
The video forms part of a broader expression of family disappointment and a call for accountability.
