The Nasco Coach of the month of January in the Ghana Premier League, Coach Asare Bediako of Berekum Chelsea fame has compared his central defender to the Kotoko center back.
Coach Asare Bediako challenged C.K Akunnor (Black Stars Coach) on given a call up to Habib Mohammed of Kotoko at the expense of Zakaria Fuseini of Berekum Chelsea in a one – on – one interview with Opoku Afriyie Richmond (Fantastic PKAY) on the Rush Hour Sports on Ghana- Kumasi Base Radio Station Fox FM.
According to him, Zakaria played very well in the league as compared to Habib, hence Zakaria should have gotten a call up to the Black Stars but not Habib, taking the on hold season as a case study. “It pained me after Zakaria Fuseini was snubbed for a call up to the Black Stars.”
Coach Bediako further explained that “the central defensive pair at Berekum Chelsea (Zakaria Fuseini & Ahmed Adams) is very solid and difficult for strikers to penetrate.”
Mr. Asare Bediako revealed his game plan for their wins against Kotoko, Hearts and Ashgold when he stated that the technical team of Berekum Chelsea had closely studied the clubs before those clashes and deployed a new strategy, hence their wins against Kotoko, Hearts and Ashgold all away from home.
