… says he has carved out his name in gold for all his contributions to nation building.
The 100 Achievers team has felicitated with the former deputy governor of central bank and former presidential aspirant, Prof Kingsley moghalu on his 58 birthday saying that the celebrant has achieved so much despite his relatively young age. The group stated that Prof Kingsley moghalu has lived a deliberate life of impact and has dedicated the remainder of his days towards reshaping the bleak fortunes of Nigeria and helping her realize her destiny.
In a release by Barr Lizzy Anyaonu, the group recalled Professor Kingsley Moghalu’s days at the apex bank and praised him for his sterling performance, pointing out that those days were actually the golden era of the CBN.
Prof Moghalu as the former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank, according to the group, exhibited high level of professionalism and helped in stabilizing the financial sector that was marred by sleaze and insider dealings by the gate keepers of the industry. They went further to say that his insights and innovations contributed to the strengthening of the industry and deepening of the Nigerian economy through sound fiscal policies.
The group further stated that Prof. Moghalu’s entrance into the political terrain after his spectacular service at the Apex bank changed the political discourse and redirected focus of electoral campaigns to the reinventing of the moribund economy. This, the group said, confirms his hunger to rewrite the Nigerian political narrative, offer direction to the rudderless ship of the Nigerian State and salvage a people going through a long winter night.
“Your foray into politics and your bold ideas as a Lawyer and political economist introduced intellectual rigour to political campaigns and brought real inconvenient issues to the front burner, allowing them to be dissected dispassionately for a homegrown solution. We are hopeful that you stay on course for subsequent campaigns, for the nation is bereft of intellectually driven leadership”, the group said.
Prof Kingsley Moghalu is a former Deputy Governor of the CBN and a Presidential aspirant during the 2019 Presidential election.
