Real reason APC won Imo, Kogi – Uzodinma

Hope-Uzodinma

Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has announced that the All Progressives Congress (APC) emerged victorious in the off-cycle election in both Imo and Kogi states due to the party’s increasing popularity.

Uzodinma emphasized that Nigerians are pleased with the APC’s performance, influenced by President Bola Tinubu’s impact.

In Imo, Uzodinma secured his reelection after defeating opponents from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party.

Similarly, APC’s candidate, Usman Ododo, triumphed in the Kogi State election. However, the PDP emerged victorious in Bayelsa State with the reelection of Governor Douye Diri.

Uzodinma and Ododo paid a visit to Tinubu at the presidential Villa to present him with their certificates of return.

During their visit, Uzodinma remarked that the APC’s success in Kogi and Imo states demonstrated the party’s “growing popularity.”

According to Uzodinma: “You recall that the election of November 11, our great party, APC, is growing in popularity and came out successfully in Kogi and Imo states.

“Our victory at the polls shows that Nigerians are still very happy with the APC. Nigerians voted en-mass for the President and this victory validates this claim through the voters in Kogi state and Imo state.

“So we have come to honour the president and also use the opportunity to thank him for his support, advice, and wisdom.
