A Nigerian healthcare worker in the UK has been sacked from her job and deported to home soil, after she was seen praying for an elderly dying patient.
In a post disclosed on ‘X’ renown influencer and abroad based doctor, @drolufunmilayo, said it is unprinciple in the UK for nurses to bring in religion while rendering their duties.
He stated that even if a patient asks a nurse to pray for him or her, it is obligated of the nurse to ask the patient to seek a cleric instead, as it is against the practice of praying for patients
Olufunmilayo added that he shared the story to forewarn Nigerian medical practitioners relocating to the UK from praying for patients

She was assigned to care for an elderly patient who was dying and she was reported for “praying for the client to get better”.
Yeah. She got sacked and deported.
Her destiny is not tied to UK but to God Don’t be discouraged because your story just take a turn not a stop
