Vice President Shettima of Nigeria has caused a stir with his pledge to donate 25 million naira to financially disadvantaged female students.
During a convocation lecture at a school, the politician and philanthropist urged men to work hard to fund their own education.
Shettima’s generous gesture is intended to assist indigent female students in paying their school fees.
Speaking at the occasion, Shettima said:“The men, I am just like you. You can struggle and pay your school fees.”
