Dr Bawa Ahmed Abimiku, the former Commissioner of Health in Nasarawa State, has passed away.
A family source confirmed that Abimiku, who also had the traditional title of Durbin Eggon, died in the early hours of Tuesday, December 19, after a long illness at the Federal Medical Centre in Keffi.
Ahmed Abimiku played a vital role in the health sector, serving as both Commissioner and Member of the State Executive Council during the administration of the late Alhaji (Dr) Aliyu Akwe Doma.
Abimiku will be laid to rest at the Abuja Central Mosque, FCT, adhering to Islamic customs, at 2:00 pm.
