In an attack on the Gubio Police Divisional Office in Borno State, the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists killed a police officer and stole a vehicle.
Counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in Lake Chad, Zagazola Makama, shared this information in a post on X.
According to Zagazola, the gunmen arrived in two Hilux vehicles and multiple motorcycles, firing indiscriminately as they targeted the police office.
Sources have confirmed that a police inspector lost his life while confronting the terrorists.
Additionally, the terrorists managed to steal a police vehicle during the incident.
