Agbu Kefas of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is the rightful and legitimate governor of Taraba State, the Supreme Court has ruled.
This is as the apex court on Thursday affirmed the election of Kefas as the governor of the middle belt State.
In an unanimous decision, it dismissed the appeal by Professor Yahaya Sani of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) for grossly lacking in merit.
Akelicious had earlier reported that the apex court would be delivering judgment on the gubernatorial disputes arising from the last election in three states, Taraba, Sokoto and Rives.
