A Nigerian man has maintained that he would prefer winning ₦200,000 over Nigeria Super Eagles winning their final match against Cote d’Ivoire to lift the AFCON cup.
In the said video, the man was asked what he would prefer between winning the sum of ₦200,000 and Nigeria winning the AFCON cup and without hesitation, he responded.

He maintained that he needs the money dearly as it would do a lot for him and also, if Nigeria wins, it would not do him any good but winning the ₦200,000 would do him a lot of good.
His statement: “I prefer that ₦200,000, than Nigeria to win the cup. Because if Nigeria wins the cup, there’s no benefit for me.”
“Hunger is killing me, look at what I’m eating. Just look, no meat inside, I just borrowed this thing I don’t know whether I’ll pay it today. I prefer the ₦200,000.”
