Uzodinma sworn in for second term as Imo governor

Hope Uzodinma has taken the oath of office for a second term as the governor of Imo state a few months after his victory at the poll.

The governor was sworn in 3:24 pm at the Dan Ayiam Stadium in Owerri, the Imo State capital.

Monday’s event had in attendance President Bola Tinubu, ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo; the Senate President Godswill Akpabio; the Speaker of the House of Representative Tajudeen Abbas, and other All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftains were among those in attendance.

Similarly, President Bola Tinubu on Monday inaugurated the redesigned Sam Mbakwe International Airport road in the state.

The redesigned Airport road, named after him, ‘Bola Tinubu Drive,’ was upgraded from a dualised two-lane to a four-lane highway fitted with street lights from Owerri-Aba Road to the Airport.

The president is also expected to launch the new Twin Tollgate.
