Pro-Chancellor of Olivia University, Burundi, Sir Paul Chukwuma has showered encomium on Barr. Allen Onyema,Chairman, Air Peace on his airline’s inaugural flight to Gatwick London airport.
Sir Paul Chukwuma described the maiden London flight as ambitious particularly the drastic reduction in fares which equally saw other foreign competitors follow suit. He praised Allen Onyema’s commendable leadership and the courage he has demonstrated in the aviation industry.
Sir Chukwuma pointed out in his goodwill message that Air Peace is not just an airline but a symbol of courage,hope and an inspiration to aspiring entrepreneurs.
The Burundi Varsity Chancellor noted that Barr Allen Onyema has shown great determination and bravery in not just establishing Air Peace as a major player in the aviation sector in Africa but has taken risks and made difficult decisions that have ultimately led to the success of the airline.
Chukwuma equally highlighted the fact that though the aviation industry is highly competitive and challenging, Onyema’s commitment to excellence has set Air Peace apart.
Sir Chukwuma also acknowledged the impact of Air Peace on the Nigerian economy, job creation, and providing convenient air travel options for Nigerians and added that, as a regular user of the airline , the experience has always been one of excellent services and urged them to continue to improve.
Sir Chukwuma thanked President Bola Tinubu for the support he has given to indigenous operators to reach the stars in the sector. He also encouraged Nigerians to support indigenous companies playing in the sector.
