The Delta State police command has sought the assistance of the public in identifying a man who was assaulted by officers.
Condemning the act, the state command via its X handle on Monday, April 29, urged citizens to either provide information leading to the man’s identification or share the contact details of the victims.
The command wrote: “Please whoever knows the victim should pls send him this number 09155570008 or any of our CRU lines
#Delta_PoliceCRU.”
A user of X, #Official__pere, who shared the footage via his handle wrote: “See what the police are doing to students in ozoro Delta state just returning from school.”
The viral video showed three policemen assaulting an unidentified man, while two other officers assaulted a second victim.
