New Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Olanrewaju Ishola, Takes Over from CP Adegoke M. Fayoade
CP Ishola Olanrewaju Olawale has assumed duty as the 40th Commissioner of Police for Lagos State, taking over from CP Adegoke Fayoade, who has been promoted to Assistant Inspector-General of Police and redeployed to AIG Zone 2 Headquarters in Lagos.
CP Ishola joined the Nigeria Police Force in 1992 as a Cadet ASP and holds a BSc in Geography and an MSc in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Ibadan. He has undergone extensive training, including courses at the Police Staff College in Jos and the National Institute of Police Studies in Abuja.
He has served in both operational and administrative roles, including as Unit Commander at 20 PMF Ikeja from 1996 to 2002, maintaining law and order in challenging environments.
