A tragic and disturbing incident unfolded Thursday afternoon in Okop Ndua Erong, a community in Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, where a young man was reportedly beaten to death after being caught in a compromising situation with a pregnant married woman.
The deceased, identified as Victor Akpabio, a native of Ididep in Ibiono Ibom, was allegedly caught in bed with a seven-month pregnant woman, Esther Akpabio Effiong, who is reportedly married to a local businessman popularly known as Mulgu.
Eyewitnesses say the couple was caught in the act, triggering outrage and violence among residents. In the chaos that ensued, Victor was allegedly attacked, doused with hot water, and brutally beaten. He reportedly succumbed to the injuries sustained during the mob assault.
According to sources close to the family, Esther reportedly blamed her husband’s poor sexual performance for her infidelity, allegedly describing him as a “two-minute man” who could not satisfy her needs.
