Says ; Gov Peter Mbah has shown much care for elderstatesmen in Enugu State.
One of the most influential youths in the country at the moment Hon Monday Diamond Ani has commended immensely the Executive Governor of Enugu State Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for single-handedly funding the burial ceremony of late Nigeria football icon Chairman Christian Chukwu MFR.
Monday Diamond popularly called Odoziobodo who was the Chairman of the Media and Publicity of the Central Planning Committee of late Christian Chukwu burial ceremony expressed gratitude to the Governor for the way and manner he honoured the Enugu born football legend by providing every neccessary fund needed for the burial’s success.
The Commonwealth Award Winner said; that he is Happy with the Governor in the way He takes care of elderstatesmen in Enugu State, always giving them and their families hope that those who served the State and nation diligently and honourably would always be celebrated honourably and diligently.
Recall that on the 13th of August being Wednesday, as part of the burial ceremony of late Christian Chukwu, a Night of Tribute was held in honoure of the late football icon at the International Conference Centre, and the Governor promised to henceforth,take care of the total welfare of over 120 Ex Rangers Legends who are still living, this includes Monthly Payments and Healthcares.
This unprecedented gesture is worthy of commendation, and on that note, I commend the Governor and pray for grace and guidance of God upon Him as he continues to Pilot the affairs of the State excellently.
