Nigerian activist and social commentator, Verydarkman, has praised the bravery and patriotism of a police officer and two drivers who played crucial roles in saving a man’s life during a tense situation on Friday.

In an emotional tribute, Verydarkman singled out Inspector Sunday Enang (AP, Batch No: 215944, Base 7 SPU Abuja) for his uncommon display of courage. According to him, Inspector Enang stood firm despite the odds, choosing to confront danger rather than retreat.

“Dear Inspector Sunday, I wish and pray we get more patriotic, agile policemen like yourself on our roads. You showed patriotism and bravery yesterday… your actions helped save a Nigerian life. God bless you, and I hope the Inspector-General of Police recognizes and rewards you,” he wrote.

He also extended gratitude to Mr. Moses Aru, the escort driver, whom he described as “a hero” for his driving skills and determination. Aru, alongside Inspector Enang, reportedly encouraged each other to stay on course, even when retreat seemed like the safer option.

In addition, Mr. Chime Vincent, fondly called “Chief Driver,” received commendation for his role in the operation. Verydarkman noted that Vincent’s experience behind the wheel was pivotal, especially while rushing the victim to the hospital.

“Honestly, Mr. Chime Vincent, God bless you plenty. Till now I still think we were all actors in a movie… but it really happened,” he added.
