
The Federal Operations Unit (FOU) Zone ‘B’ in Kaduna successfully intercepted a significant contraband shipment. Acting on credible intelligence the team stopped a vehicle along the Zaria Flyover on the Kaduna-Zaria expressway.
The operation led to the immediate arrest of one male suspect, Shamsu Nafi’u, who was taken into custody at the FOU Zone ‘B’ Headquarters
Upon searching the vehicle, officers discovered and seized nine sacks containing 185 compressed blocks of Cannabis Sativa, commonly known as Indian Hemp. The seized substance weighed 89.6 kilograms and has an estimated Duty Paid Value (DPV) of N 48,562,500. The suspect and the seized
contraband were successfully handed over to Operatives of the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
