
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has confirmed that a total of 2.77 million Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) have been collected ahead of the Anambra State governorship election.
According to the commission’s breakdown across the 21 Local Government Areas, Idemili North leads with 243,873 collected PVCs, followed by Awka South with 214,841, and Ogbaru with 186,103.
Other top LGAs include Onitsha North (180,573), Onitsha South (168,130), Nnewi North (165,394) and Ihiala (152,777). The least figures were recorded in Anambra West (70,618), Dunukofia (82,477) and Orumba South (84,152).
