The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, appeared at the Federal High Court in Abuja this morning as the court prepared to deliver its final judgment in his case.

Before ruling, the presiding judge allowed Kanu to present the multiple motions he filed since the last hearing. Kanu argued that judgment should not proceed because he had already filed processes at the Court of Appeal.

The prosecution urged the court to dismiss all his applications, describing them as lacking merit.

Tension heightened when Kanu insisted on delivering his final address despite the judge’s directives. After repeated back-and-forth, the judge ordered security personnel to escort him out of the courtroom, further intensifying the atmosphere as the judgment looms.
