Former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, has confirmed that he has been invited by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
In a statement shared on his official X account alongside a smiling photo, Malami described himself as a “law-abiding and patriotic citizen”, affirming his readiness to honour the invitation without hesitation.
“This is to confirm that I have been invited by the EFCC. As a law-abiding and patriotic citizen, I hereby reaffirm my commitment to honour the invitation. I understand the spirit of accountability and transparency in public service,” he said.
Malami added that he remains committed to upholding due process and ensuring clarity regarding any issues raised by the anti-graft agency.
