2027 Polls: Anambra APC Chairman Ejidike Urges Massive Turnout for Party E-Registration Exercise

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Anambra State, Chief Sir Basil Ejidike, has urged Stakeholders and party faithful across the state to take the ongoing electronic registration exercise seriously and ensure full participation.

The State Chairman further appealed to Party Stakeholders, Local Government Chairmen and residents to mobilise Ndi Anambra at their various Wards

Chief Sir Basil Ejidike made these remarks on Thursday January 8 at APC State Party Secretariat Awka when he hosted Party political leaders, Chairmen of various Local Governments and Senatorial Zones and stakeholders from across the State for a special Party Stakeholders meeting in Awka.

During the meeting, the APC chairman highlighted the importance of unity, loyalty and collective effort as preparations intensify for the for the E-registration and 2027 polls.

While speaking, he stated, “Let me use this opportunity to encourage our party members to actively participate in the ongoing e-registration exercise and please be captured and get registered in your ward to validate your membership, the exercise will end this January ending.”

“Inform your next door neighbors to get registered as well, but remember to have a functional email address.”

He reiterated that the party remains anchored on principles of fairness, justice and inclusiveness, assuring that the APC under his leadership will make sure that the exercise was a success.

Chief Ejidike, State APC Chairman, said the meeting was called to assure everyone in the APC that there is no hanky-panky, and to create equitable platform for all.

He said arrangements have been put in place to make sure no one is marginalised, adding that intending registrants will be required to meet some pre-conditions, which were listed out.

Some of the Stakeholders who attended the meeting include APC Deputy Governorship Candidate in the 2025 Election, Senator Mrs Iyom Uche Ekwunife, who donated the sum of One Million to the Party, Senator Emma Anosike, High Chief Engr Johnbosco Onunkwo, His Excellency, Ambassador Elijah Onyeagba,Former Nigeria Ambassador to Burundi, Hon Ebele Obi, Former House of Assembly Member and Many others.
