Nollywood actress and philanthropist Tonto Dikeh has issued a stern warning to an unknown individual allegedly impersonating her on TikTok and fraudulently collecting money from unsuspecting members of the public.
In a strongly worded statement shared online, Dikeh accused the impersonator of falsely claiming to be her in order to solicit funds, describing the act as criminal and unacceptable. The actress made it clear that she would not tolerate such actions and vowed to pursue legal action if the person is identified.
“To the girl impersonating me on TikTok, collecting money and claiming to be me, if we catch you, nobody will save you. I don’t back down when people plead on social media. You will definitely go to jail,” she warned.
Tonto Dikeh emphasized that she does not solicit money from fans through social media platforms and urged the public to be vigilant and avoid engaging with accounts claiming to represent her without proper verification. She also encouraged her followers to report any suspicious accounts bearing her name or image.
