Nollywood actress and philanthropist, Tonto Dikeh, has announced a major personal breakthrough, revealing a reconciliation with the father of her child after more than a decade of conflict, which she described as a divine act of restoration.

In an emotional statement shared publicly, Dikeh said the reconciliation came after “ten long years of public battles, deep wounds, broken communication, bitterness, and pain,” adding that the turnaround was not achieved by human effort but by God’s intervention.

“We are living proof that the Word of God is eternal and unfailing. God is not a God who abandons what He has started,” she wrote, noting that what once seemed “ugly, impossible, and beyond repair” has now been transformed by mercy, peace, and renewed respect.

The actress expressed gratitude to the father of her child, Dr Kunle, for choosing peace and yielding to what she described as God’s direction, stressing that obedience to God ultimately brings restoration, even after prolonged hardship.

“What human effort could not fix, God healed by salvation, humility, and the sincere prayers of a child,” Dikeh stated, adding that pride had melted, stubbornness had bowed, and love had found its voice again.

She described the reconciliation as “not by might, not by wisdom, not by strength—but by the Spirit of the Lord,” emphasizing that the process defied human logic and expectation.

Dikeh also used her testimony to encourage others going through similar struggles, urging them not to lose hope.

“To anyone standing where I once stood—tired, wounded, misunderstood, and believing nothing good can come out of the situation—please hear this: God has not abandoned you. Your story is not over,” she said.

Calling the reconciliation “10 Years in One Day,” the actress described it as a living testimony that God “never fails, never forgets, and never walks away from His own.”

She concluded by thanking her spiritual father, whom she referred to as “Papa,” for mentoring her and helping shape her faith journey.
