Popular social media personality Michelle, widely known as King Mitchy, has passed away in Abuja, according to a statement released by her management.
The announcement, which has left fans and followers in shock, revealed that she died after battling a critical health condition despite efforts by doctors at Prime Hospital.
“We are deeply heartbroken to share that our beloved Michelle, popularly known as King Mitchy, has passed on. Despite all efforts from the medical team here in Abuja, we were told her condition was critical, and sadly, she could not be revived,” the statement read.
Her management described her as more than just a talent, noting that she was “family, full of life, light, and dreams.” They added that her passing marks an incredibly painful moment for everyone who knew and worked with her.
In an emotional appeal before her death was confirmed, the team had called on members of the public to reach out to Prime Hospital in Abuja to intensify efforts to save her life. It was also disclosed that her mother reportedly fainted in Lagos after hearing about her deteriorating condition and was rushed to a hospital for treatment.
The management has appealed for prayers, love, and understanding from the public during this difficult time, urging everyone to respect the privacy of her family and loved ones as they grieve.
