Being Good Doesn’t Guarantee Success – Tacha

Former Big Brother Naija housemate and media personality Natacha Akide has sparked conversations online after sharing a thought-provoking message about life, fairness, and success.

The reality TV star, popularly known as Tacha, took to social media to reflect on lessons she believes many people are taught while growing up. According to her, many are raised with the belief that hard work, fairness, and obedience to rules automatically lead to success.

“All my life I was told: work hard, play fair, follow the rules, and life will reward you,” she wrote.

However, Tacha said adulthood often reveals a different reality, noting that the rules many people are taught to follow are often created by those who have already succeeded.

“Then you grow up and realize the rules were written by the winners and they never follow the rules. The people who preach fairness don’t always play fair,” she added.

Despite her reflections, the former reality TV star emphasized that being a good person still has its value, even if it does not guarantee success.

“Being a good person doesn’t guarantee success. It just means you can sleep at night,” she concluded.
