Rounds off Water Project Statewide Inspection Tour
As LGA Mayors,Igwes, PGs and Villagers Eulogize Gov Mbah’s Rural Water Projects& Open Defecation Eradication
The General Manager of State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA) has described His Excellency Dr Peter Mbah, Governor of Enugu State as the Millenium Governor of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The CSDA Boss Hon Monday Diamond Ani made this statement while congratulating Governor Peter Mbah on His 54th Birthday Anniversary.
The CSDA Boss who just concluded a successful statewide inspection tour of communities that benefitted from the Governor Mbah’s intervention projects through the Community and Social Development Agency,which took place across the 17 local government areas of the state described Governor Peter Mbah as the Millenium Governor of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,a leader per excellence and a role model to many aspiring young leaders.
The CSDA Boss and his team inspected project sites across Aninri,Awgu,Enugu East,Enugu North, Enugu South, Ezeagu, Igbo-Etiti,Igbo-Eze North, Igbo-Eze, Isi-Uzo,Udi, Nkanu East,Nkanu West,Oji River,Udenu and Uzo-Uwani Local Government Areas respectively.
The monitoring exercise assessed water supply and sanitation projects executed in communities under the agency’s development programmes, particularly those aimed at expanding access to potable water and supporting the campaign against open defecation.
Worthy to note that the Government of Peter Mbah has carried out over 140 community based projects across the State especially water and public toilets.
Speaking at various communities during the tour, Diamond noted that the successful execution of water facilities and sanitation projects across the state demonstrates the governor’s commitment to improving rural infrastructure and eliminating open defecation.
Meanwhile, various Mayors of LGA in the State, Traditional Rulers, President Generals, Village Leaders and Villagers all eulogized Governor Peter Mbah’s unprecedented leadership style and as well expressed deep gratitude to Him for giving them potable water and other basic rural amenities that is making life easy and better for them.
