Popular reality TV star and former Big Brother Naija contestant, Tacha, has stated that the root of Nigeria’s challenges lies not in corruption but in a lack of genuine love for the country.
Speaking in a recent interview, Tacha emphasised that progress begins with citizens who care deeply about their nation.
“Corruption is not Nigeria’s biggest problem. The real problem is the lack of love for the country,” she said. “We don’t have enough people who genuinely care about Nigeria, and that’s where everything starts from.”
The reality star added that many Nigerians fail to understand the meaning of patriotism. “Because if you truly love Nigeria, you will do right by it. And until that is fixed, we can’t make real progress,” she explained.
