Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Lagos, where he is set to brief President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the situation in Maiduguri following his recent visit to the state at the President’s directive.
During the briefing, the Vice President will present a detailed report on his engagements with families and communities affected by the tragic incidents in Borno State, as well as his on-the-spot assessment of conditions on the ground.
He is also expected to convey key observations and recommendations aimed at addressing the challenges arising from the incidents.
Thereafter, Vice President Shettima will lead serving governors on a Sallah homage to the President.
