Etiti Ngwo Residents Cry Out Over Alleged Illegal Demolitions, Call on Peter Mbah to Intervene

Etiti Ngwo

The people of Etiti Ngwo are crying out. Residents of the community have issued a passionate public appeal to Enugu State Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, demanding an immediate halt to what they describe as the unlawful and heavy-handed demolition of homes, businesses, and lifelong investments by the Enugu State Geographic Information System, ENGIS.

According to the affected residents, properties are being pulled down without prior notice, without dialogue, and without any regard for the people who built and depend on them. No timeline has been officially confirmed for when the demolitions began, but the community says the situation has reached a breaking point, with innocent residents bearing the brunt of actions they were never consulted about.

The people of Etiti Ngwo are directing their anger not only at the state government but specifically at ENGIS Chairman Chiwetalu Nwatu, whom they accuse of overstepping his authority and acting without accountability.

They are calling on the governor to rein in the agency, restore due process, and ensure that no resident loses their property without fair treatment and proper legal procedure.
