Nollywood actor Kunle Remi has cried out over Nigeria’s worsening economic situation, highlighting rising fuel prices, poor electricity supply, and increasing transportation costs.
Speaking via his social media platform, the actor said Nigerians can no longer afford to avoid political conversations, stressing that citizens must begin to ask questions about the state of the country.
He revealed that he recently bought petrol at over ₦1,300 per litre while running generators constantly due to unstable power supply, noting that businesses and small shops now rely heavily on petrol and diesel to operate.
Kunle Remi also expressed concern for workers, explaining that rising transport fares have made salaries insufficient for many employees to commute to work. He questioned why a resource-rich nation continues to struggle with energy challenges.
