Cubana Chief Priest, in his post, expressed condolences over the violence in Jos but also suggested that the attack was motivated to embarrass the President on his birthday, urging security agencies to step up their efforts and praising President Tinubu while praying for the souls of the deceased.
His statement quickly sparked backlash online.
Reacting on social media, Skales described the comment as “delusional,” questioning how anyone could focus on the president being embarrassed while lives had been lost. He further criticized the remark, saying it showed a lack of conscience and empathy, especially given that the victims were human beings.
