Concerned Nigerians, including members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), have returned to the streets of Abuja for Day 2 of the ongoing #OccupyINEC demonstrations.
The protesters are strongly rejecting the decision by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to derecognise the leadership faction of the party led by David Mark, a move they describe as politically motivated.
Demonstrators are also calling for the resignation of INEC Chairman Joseph Amupitan, accusing the electoral body of partisanship and undue interference in internal party affairs.
