The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has shared a reflective account of what he described as a personal encounter with God regarding provision and long-term vision.
Speaking during a recent religious gathering, the cleric recounted how he once prayed for a house but claimed the response he received was different from what he expected.
“Years ago when I asked God for a house, he said don’t ask me a house, I’ve decided to build you a city. When I told my people, they laughed, well, they’re not laughing anymore now cos they have their houses in that city. A city where water never goes off and there’s light 24/7. A city where you can still walk about in the night safely with all the news going on,” he said.
