Tinubu Already Defeated You in 2023 — Daniel Bwala Fires Back at Atiku Abubakar

Bwala Daniel and Atiku

Daniel Bwala has reacted to recent remarks by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, dismissing claims that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would be defeated by a coalition candidate in the next election.

Atiku had earlier stated in an interview that President Tinubu would be “dead on arrival” if faced with a united coalition candidate. However, Bwala, in a sharp response, pointed out that Atiku himself was effectively the coalition candidate during the 2023 presidential election but still lost despite having the backing of governors, states, and established political structures.

According to Bwala, those same political structures have now largely aligned with President Tinubu, making it even more unlikely for any coalition of opposition figures to pose a significant threat. He described the emerging alliance as a gathering of “aggrieved stateless leaders,” suggesting it lacks the political strength and grassroots support needed to challenge the incumbent.

Bwala further argued that President Tinubu may not even feel compelled to “check the scoreboard” on election day if such a coalition emerges, emphasizing his confidence in the president’s political standing.
