A political supporter known as Mama Pee has dismissed reports suggesting that Peter Obi has agreed to serve as a vice-presidential candidate ahead of the 2027 elections.
Reacting to the claims, Mama Pee stated that Obi would “never” accept a vice-presidential position under any circumstance, insisting that her position is based on credible insider knowledge. She emphasized that many members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) joined the party because of Obi’s leadership and competence.
According to her, presenting Obi as anything other than a presidential candidate would be a major misstep for the party. She warned that the ADC risks making a “big mistake” if it fails to field what she described as a competent candidate capable of winning broad support.
