Street-hop singer Portable has reacted following his defeat in a celebrity boxing match against skit maker Carter Efe, sparking mixed reactions across social media.
In a voice statement that has since gone viral, Portable dismissed claims that he was completely overpowered in the ring. According to him, the fight was not one-sided as many have portrayed.
> “All of you are m@d, Carter Efe was just holding my neck, I was punch!ng him too but you people are not talking about that. They did ojoro for me, they knew Carter Efe is tall and has long hand but still put him in a boxing with me,” he said.
The controversial singer further alleged that the match was unfairly arranged, suggesting that his opponent’s physical advantage played a major role in the outcome.
Despite the loss, Portable appeared unfazed about not winning the belt, stressing that his priorities have shifted beyond entertainment rivalries.
“Well, you can only buy belt with money but a child cannot be bought. My wife just gave birth to a bouncing baby boy, I value that more than a belt,” he added.
