Veteran Nollywood actor Roy De Nani has opened up on the painful experiences he allegedly faced in the Nigerian movie industry, revealing how he was sidelined for over a decade.
Speaking emotionally about his struggles, the actor claimed that a powerful figure in Nollywood allegedly instructed movie producers to stop giving him acting roles, a move he said effectively shut him out of the industry for 13 years.
Roy De Nani also recounted his personal tragedies, revealing that he lost two children to sickle cell disease during the difficult period of his life.
According to him, Nollywood abandoned him in his time of need, while he was also allegedly banned from producing movies.
The veteran actor said that despite the challenges, his wife and loyal fans have remained his strongest support system and source of hope.
He expressed gratitude to everyone who has stood by him through the years and offered prayers for those who supported him during his difficult moments.
