Media personality Daddy Freeze has stirred reactions on social media after commenting on the upcoming wedding of popular Nigerian TikTok star and streamer, Peller.
In a post shared online, Daddy Freeze appeared to throw shade at educated Nigerians who are yet to get married, stating that Peller had “beaten” many of them by choosing to settle down at a young age.
His remark has since generated mixed reactions, with some social media users agreeing that age and educational status should not determine when a person gets married, while others argued that marriage is a personal decision that should not be used as a measure of success.
Peller, whose real name is Habeeb Hamzat, and his fiancée, Jarvis (Amadou Elizabeth, popularly known as Jadrolita), are among Nigeria’s most popular TikTok creators and livestream personalities. The couple recently announced that they will tie the knot on August 1, 2026, a development that has attracted widespread attention across social media.
