Activist Gabriel Timothy has accused political commentator Isaac Fayose of demanding a refund of the ₦200,000 he gifted his mother after he expressed support for Zlatan Ibile and Davido against VeryDarkMan (VDM).
In a video shared online, Gabriel Timothy said Fayose contacted him weeks ago, requesting his mother’s account details because he wanted to give her money for drinks and prayers.
Recounting the incident, he said, “Few weeks ago he reach out to me, he say that he want my mother to pray for him… I say okay no wahala.”
He added that Fayose subsequently transferred ₦200,000 to his mother, insisting that he never begged for the money.
“I did not ask him to send the money to my mom, he was the one that reach out to me… and I appreciate him for that,” he said.
However, Gabriel Timothy alleged that Fayose later demanded a refund after he supported Zlatan and Davido against VDM. He also claimed that Fayose requested full payment for work he had done for him.
He alleged that Fayose owed him over ₦750,000, adding that when he requested his outstanding payment, he was told, “Na so una dey do for una estate.”
Rejecting the refund request, Gabriel Timothy declared, “I am not my mother. You give it to her, go and meet her to collect your money.”
He also insisted, “I am not somebody you can use money to control.”
Addressing Fayose over the alleged unpaid earnings, he said, “Mister Isaac Fayose, I work for you, you rip me, you go pay me my money.”
He further warned that the situation could escalate if the alleged debt remained unpaid, adding, “I move like a ghost and that is why they call me the aliens.”
