Nigerian music icon 2Face has seemingly declared a new era of peace amid the ongoing marital controversy involving his wife, Hon. Natasha.
Speaking at an event, the singer appeared to reflect on his recent experiences as he addressed the crowd and admitted that he had decided to stop looking for trouble.
2Face began by acknowledging the atmosphere around him, saying, “Okay, you know how e dey happen na”, before adding, “I dey see so many beautiful people for here man.”
He then appeared to make a firm declaration about his approach going forward.
“You know what”, he said, before repeating, “Going forward” and asking the crowd to “Hold on”.
He continued, “Going forward”, before making his declaration: “I don decide not to dey look for trouble again.”
The singer then appeared to suggest that his decision was informed by an experience he had already had, saying, “I don go look for trouble, I don”, before completing the thought with, “I don hear am”.
He followed it with an exclamation of “Hey God!”, apparently leaving the audience to interpret exactly what he meant.
2Face then turned the moment into a message for those around him, telling them, “Turn to your neighbour and say ‘no more trouble’ I no dey look for trouble again o.”
