Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has opened up about the circumstances surrounding his reported fallout with fellow rapper Odumodu Black, revealing that a past relationship with a woman who later dated Odumodu became the source of tension between them.
According to Blaqbonez, he and Odumodu Black were previously on good terms until they discovered they had both been involved with the same woman at different points.
Blaqbonez said he had been in a non-exclusive relationship with the woman for about a year before they eventually went their separate ways. He claimed he later discovered that she was dating Odumodu Black after they had stopped seeing each other.
The rapper said he chose to distance himself from the woman after learning about her relationship with Odumodu, but the situation reportedly escalated when Odumodu questioned him about their past.
Blaqbonez alleged that Odumodu accused him of disturbing his girlfriend and later demanded details about his previous relationship with her. He said a subsequent three-way conversation involving the woman became even more confusing after she allegedly denied that they had ever been intimate or travelled together.
He claimed he eventually provided photographs from a trip to Ghana as evidence of their past relationship.
Blaqbonez further alleged that the disagreement has since resulted in repeated attacks and harassment against him on social media.
The rapper’s account has now offered a different perspective on the long-running tension between the two Nigerian artistes, with Blaqbonez portraying the dispute as a fallout rooted in conflicting accounts of their past relationship with the same woman.
