Nigerian rappers Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez have offered contrasting accounts of the events surrounding their long-running beef, with allegations of police harassment and a woman at the centre of their dispute.
Odumodublvck claimed that the police have attempted to arrest him about 10 times over a case he linked to his ongoing conflict with Blaqbonez and his record label, Chocolate City.
The rapper said that whenever reports emerge that he has been arrested, people should understand that the situation is connected to the dispute.
Odumodublvck also alleged that Blaqbonez sexually assaulted someone on his team and claimed that Blaqbonez’s management attempted to portray the matter as a mere musical rivalry. According to him, that narrative failed to gain ground because of the pressure he applied.
However, Blaqbonez has given a different account of what triggered the fallout between them.
Speaking in a recent interview, Blaqbonez claimed that a woman was the starting point of his beef with Odumodublvck. He alleged that he had previously been intimate with the woman before discovering that she was dating Odumodublvck.
According to Blaqbonez, he backed off after learning about their relationship, but the incident subsequently became part of the tension between the two rappers.
The conflicting accounts have further fueled public interest in the feud, with Odumodublvck linking the dispute to police-related developments while Blaqbonez has pointed to a personal matter involving a woman as the alleged starting point.
The allegations made by both artistes remain claims from their respective accounts and have not been independently established as fact.
