Social media activist VeryDarkMan has criticised Nigerian singer Davido and members of the Adeleke family, describing them as disappointments to Osun State and calling on the family to give other people an opportunity to govern the state.
In a statement, VeryDarkMan maintained his position on the Adeleke family, alleging that the state had not witnessed the level of development he expected during their years of political influence.
He also questioned the explanation surrounding the alleged fake endorsement deals involving singer B-Red, a member of the Adeleke family.
According to him, claims that the cheques in question were dummy cheques raised further questions, particularly over how two different companies could allegedly have issued identical dummy cheques.
VeryDarkMan further argued that the Adeleke family had maintained a significant influence over Osun State politics for decades, adding that it was time for a change in leadership.
Reflecting on his visit to the state, the activist expressed dissatisfaction with what he described as inadequate development, the absence of an airport and a poor standard of living among residents.
He argued that other individuals should be given the opportunity to govern the state and introduce policies capable of improving infrastructure, economic opportunities and the welfare of residents.
