Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has dismissed reports of a strained relationship between him and his predecessor, Nasir El-Rufai, insisting that there is no disagreement between them.
Sani stated this during an interview on Trust TV, where he accused political actors of exaggerating speculation about a fallout between the two leaders to create tension in the state.
“I have no problem with El-Rufai; I have never spoken against him,” the governor said.
He maintained that he holds El-Rufai in high regard as his predecessor and leader, stressing that reports of a political feud do not reflect his position.
According to Sani, his administration remains committed to governance, national unity and delivering democratic dividends to the people of Kaduna State rather than engaging in political disputes.
The governor also urged residents to disregard reports suggesting a breakdown in relations between him and the former governor, saying his priority is to unite the state and advance its development.
